Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows, including the most recent production of Violet. She also portrayed the roles in Broadway with The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. Star Search was her first television appearance at the young age of fifteen. Her next appearances were in Bunheads as well as Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster, a solo performer, has appeared across the country and internationally along with Michael Rafter. Her songs include "Wish", "An Evening with Sutton Foster - Live at Cafe Carlyle" (her sequel album) in addition to "Anevening with Sutton Foster - Live at Joe's Pub". In 2011, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree in the form of an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she also is on faculty as a professor and advisor to members of the Department of Theatre and Dance.
